Assay Procedures:

1. Balance the temperature of serums and test kits at 23°C-29°C.

2. Apply 50μl serum or plasma (not inactivated) and 50μl positive control and negative control respectively, and evenly daub them on one paper loop.

3. Agitate the paper card to mix the antigen evenly, and apply one drop of antigen to the paper loop by holding the pipette vertically.

4. Turn the paper card horizontally with a revolver or by hand at the speed of 100r/m for 8 minutes. Read the result under light. The result should be judged as strong positive, weak positive or negative. Finish the reading within 3 minutes.

5. To estimate the degree of a strong positive serum, dilute serum multiply, and assay according to the above procedures.

Precautions:

1. Carry out the test under 23°C-29°C.

2. Carry out the test with positive serum at the same time. Any abnormal testing result shall be tested again.

3. TRUST-antigen precipitates after long-term storage, so agitate it before use. Blow and agitate TRUST-antigen with pipette before applying.

4. The test is non-specificity syphilis regain test, which may cause false positive, so when reading the test result, clinical disease record must be taken into consideration, or verify the result with treponema pallidum antibody specificity test.

5. The test card shall be used only once. 6. Test reagents of different name, lot number shall not be used together; otherwise false result will be caused. 857
